  1. Hey, i came across your blog cos my friend John that works with you posted your latest entry on travel on his facebook page. Ive gone through and read a bunch of them and I just wanted to let you know how much i like your blog! So much of it rings true. And although i havent met you or seen you in person i really think you are too hard on yourself! Especially one entry where you had said about not feeling pretty or good enough because of your disability and all the things you would think people were saying about you.I would say 9/10 people would just be wondering why you were limping. And only because they’re curious. None of the other horrible things you would think. But i did notice in other entries you seem to have gained more confidence and not care so much. And that made me smile. You shouldn’t let your disability hold you back in the sense of dating, trying new things, going places etc if you can help it 🙂 Going by your blog you seem like a lovely person so keep being you!

    1. Thank you so much Cass, for reading and the incredibly sweet comment! I owe John some serious props for reposting it on his Facebook. It’s been a rough road but I can definitely say 100% this is the most confident I’ve been in my life and it feels great! Nice to meet you even if it’s just over the web 🙂

  4. Hello Jackie,

I so thoroughly enjoyed reading your blogs. I did not create and write the blogs but yet I found them cathartic :-). Wow, I do think I am in love, you are such a beautiful human being all around! Is there such thing as, “love at first read?” Well I do wish that your life is good currently. I hope we can keep in touch here in the near future. Here is a e-mail: cbattaglia45@gmail.com. I too have a disability and would love to discuss many topics with you.
